RCB defeated CSK by 27 runs at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday to record their sixth win in a row in IPL 2024 and qualify for the IPL playoffs for the ninth time. Meanwhile, CSK have been knocked out of IPL 2024. RCB put up a total of 218/5 and restricted CSK to 191/7.

With his four sixes against CSK in their IPL 2024 match in Bengaluru on Saturday, former RCB captain Virat Kohli took his tally of sixes in the season to 37. He has now hit the most number of sixes in the season so far. He overtook LSG's Nicholas Pooran, who slammed 36 sixes in IPL 2024.

CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and elected to bowl first against RCB in their IPL 2024 virtual knockout match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday. CSK have included Mitchell Santner in their playing XI in place of Moeen Ali. Meanwhile, Will Jacks has been replaced by Glenn Maxwell in RCB's playing XI.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar, whom AAP MP Swati Maliwal accused of assaulting her at the CM's house in Delhi on May 13, has been detained. She claimed Bibhav hit her and deliberately pulled her shirt up. Separately, in his complaint, Kumar alleged Maliwal abused him and claimed she illegally entered the CM's residence.

Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha returned from the UK and visited Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's residence. Chadha had undergone eye surgery in the UK and was away for a long duration, raising questions over his absence during Lok Sabha elections. He visited Kejriwal's home amid a controversy that broke out over the alleged assault of party colleague Swati Maliwal.
